Is there something troubling you, American Family Association?

J C Penney has hired Ellen DeGeneres to be their spokesperson. American Family Association has a cow over this.

First of all, this is none of the American Family Associations business. Second, for those who are mindlessly obeying the American Family Association and are phoning J C Penney to demand they Fire Ellen, What if people started calling your place of employment demanding that they fire you eh? Yeal I am talking to those who are calling in to demand J C Penney Fire Ellen DeGeneres because she is Gay.

And there you have it. Homophobia to the excess. In many nations this would be a Hate Crime. But since the Fundies control the Congress the legislation that would had made such action in the USA a Hate Crime never passed. It was never brought up for a vote if you were wondering. Gay people have every right to be a spokesperson for whomever business they want to work for.

So, American Family Association, must businesses now pass their newly hired people over to you for your approval?


Why don't you stay the hell out of J C Penney's Business, American Family Association?

And I remind you all who are obeying AFA, what if someone called about your job demanding they fire you for being.... Fundamentalist.

Of course this commentary is my opinion but I do wonder why American Family Association feels it must tell Corporations whom to hire.

Lowe's lowly deed

Lowe's is a big box store that sells hardware and other things. They were sponsoring a Television Show about Arabs in the United States... Until the fundamentalist reconstructionist squaked and struck fear in Lowe's heart.

The Show is All-American Muslim is a good show that tells of the life of Arabs in the United States. Lowe's was sponsoring the show until a bunch of radical fundamentalist reconstructionist at the Florida Family Association screamed. They claim that the families are not representative of the Muslim faith as a whole.

This is pure hate in my opinion. And now we get my first Boycott for this blog.

Home Depot, Lowe's... the economic boycott will continue until you return to sponsoring All-American Muslim....

Above all else, people, lets not allow hate to win... PLEASE!!!
